1. Continuing the twisted trend of posthumous publishing, it was revealed that J.D. Salinger instructed his estate to release five of his works, which will be available as early as 2015. New item to add to my to-do list, directly below “write books”:

5. Following the success of Netflix’s House of Cards, Kevin Spacey urges television networks to “give control to viewers.” His thesis, which is hard to disagree with, is that we love to binge.

6. Supervillains at the University of Washington have successfully linked two brains over the internet, allowing one subject to control the hand movements of the other. The researchers were disheartened to find that the experiment had already been proven successful several years ago with the advent of internet pornography.

7. Elon Musk, visionary bazillionaire behind Pay Pal and Tesla Motors and private goddamn space shuttles, has taken inspiration from the Iron Man movies and created a motion gesture design process that his company, SpaceX, will use to make rocket parts. Here’s a humblebrag tweet from Musk:

We figured out how to design rocket parts just w hand movements through the air (seriously). Now need a high frame rate holograph generator.
